The Baton Rouge Regional Eye Bank is a non-profit organization that facilitates cornea transplants between donors and recipients. For patients with corneal blindness, the restoration of their sight depends on cornea donations. When you register to become a donor, you create the opportunity for your legacy to live on while positively impacting the lives of others and providing them with the miracle of sight.
Since our founding in 1976, we have helped restore sight to 4,000 people and counting. As cornea transplant facilitators, we experience the beautiful impact the gift of sight has on recipients. We strive to raise awareness of eye donation to give someone a second chance at sight.
